I know from personal experience how important the financial and emotional support of others can be when you're trying to get ahead in a competitive world.

So I committed to "reinvesting" in my community years ago, as soon as I started succeeding myself.

As you may know, thanks to many years of hard work online I'm happy to donate much of the profits from my books, services, and websites (including this one) to charity.

My favorite charity is an annual scholarship program that I administrate personally.

It helps underprivileged kids from inner city Detroit go to college.

Since I used to be one of those kids, I know that offering these students scholarships and moral support is important.  It's not a huge program but it has helped many talented students go farther and faster toward their own success.  I also keep in touch with our winners (and many of the runners-up, too) to offer guidance and mentoring support through their college years and beyond.

This Year's Winner:  Virginia!

I'm very pleased to share with you the latest winner of this annual scholarship:  Won't you join me in congratulating Virginia?

Despite a challenging academic and personal environment in the inner city, she had a strong academic record through her 4 years of high school (3.6 GPA).  She was a member of the National Honor Society and co-captain of the girl’s Tennis Team, too.

Thanks in part to YOU reading my books and participating on this website, Virginia will be attending Emory University in Atlanta in the fall.

This is a big deal.

Neither of Virginia's parents attended college.

Her father did not finish high school and is disabled from a work accident.  Her mother's work helps the family make ends meet but she is chronically under-employed. The dismal job market in Detroit offers little hope of financial improvement for her family and few role models for bright young students like Virginia either.

But my, and now your, financial support of this talented young woman has the potential to help change her life for the better.

Reinvestment Matters

This kind of "reinvestment" is one of the core principles of Click Millionaire philosophy.  (Which you know if you’ve read my books or our Click Millionaires Manifesto here.)

I continue to believe that sharing your time through your participation here in our Forum is a win-win activity, plus reinvesting financial success to help others remains an important obligation to any of us who can afford it.

So Thank You.

Thank you for being here, participating in our Click Millionaires community.

Thanks for participating in our ClickMillionaires.com Forum.  Thank you for sharing the content from my blog and podcasts with your friends.

Thanks for buying my books and telling your friends about them, too.

Together we are making a difference - certainly in Virginia’s life and hopefully in your life, too.

Scott

p.s.  If you'd like to help me continue to support talented young students like Virginia, I’m not looking for donations.  Please just participate in our Forum, share the Click Millionaires book with your friends, and patronize our advertisers.  I'll take care of the rest but I do need and appreciate your help promoting ClickMillionaires.com along the way.  Thanks.

That's amazing Scott.  Really good deed.  You are the new Oprah helping the underprivileged.

I didn't know you grew up like that.  Sounds like a great story from you that I haven't heard.

had no idea you were doing this. This is phenomenal - and in an area that really needs everyone's help today. You are a huge inspiration Scott! Thank you for what you do for these kids.
